Founder of the educational portal

Rafia Khalfan Alshaer Alsuwaidi. Graduated from Zayed University, Dubai, UAE, Bachelor of Science in Education, Specialization: Early Childhood Education with GPA 3.5. Recipient of the Sheikha Shamsa bint Suhail Award for creative women in the educational field (first session 2011). Some of my achievements: created kindergarten activity books called “whdaty وحداتي” level one and level two in 2013, established an educational website “Educational Portal www.e-portal.ae” in 2010, and preparing and presenting workshops in making educational aids for primary teachers in Dubai schools and the last lecture was at the Second Education Conference in Dubai in 2019

Creating and preparing educational aids is my passion, and I am very happy to see my products in the hands of children. My goal when I am creating and designing my products is to create attractive, high-quality, cost-effective, educational resources that are easy to equip and assemble by a teacher. If I help a teacher in saving her time and attract her students to the lesson, I will succeed

You will notice that most of my educational resources are flashcards, paper games and electronic educational games because I believe that a child learns through play, and I know how important for a child to practice educational activities and work independently in the educational corner in order to acquire and build different skills. What you will not see frequently on my site is the worksheets, because I am not a fan of the worksheets, however I provided worksheets in various academic subjects, and since I love childhood and my specialty revolves around this stage, most of the resources in the educational portal for pre-school children, kindergarten and primary stage

The educational portal’s mission is to provide you with products, resources, ideas, and educational tools to help you carry out your tasks as a teacher at reasonable prices

The educational portal forum was established in 2010, the forum won the distinguished website award in 2011 by the Ministry of Culture and Youth at that time

The educational portal has benefited a large number of educators, students, and parents from the United Arab Emirates as well as from the Arab Gulf states and Arab countries

The forum stopped working from 2017 until 2019

In 2020, the forum was transformed into a site for selling educational products licensed by the Dubai Economic Department under the brand name AL BAWABA AL TALEMIA PUBLISHING OF BOOKS

All rights to educational resources on the site are reserved for the educational portal, and the graphics of these resources have been used from various sources: free drawings by painters, drawings purchased for commercial purposes, and my own drawings

 

 

 

Privacy policy

The educational portal website maintains the user’s personal data that is entered to create the account and register in it, as the site can use it in purchasing correspondence and sending a bulletin of information about offers, the user also has the right to amend his data and cancel the account, and we do not work to provide data to any company or other party

Credit card details and personally identifiable information will not be stored, sold, shared or rented to any third party and this is a fixed site management policy

The site policy, terms and conditions may be changed or updated sometimes to meet the requirements and standards, so the customer must visit these sections often in order to view the site updates, and these amendments will be effective from the day of their publication

The subscription must be registered and an account created to be able to take advantage of the website services and obtain the products displayed on the educational portal site

Upon subscription, the user must register his data correctly, otherwise the account creation process will not be completed

The educational portal has the right to cancel the subscription of any user without prior notice, and the user has the right to cancel his subscription to the site

 

Terms and Conditions

The educational portal can update or change the terms and conditions at any time

The educational portal is not responsible for any defect that results from giving the user his account information to another person, so the user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data recorded on the site

The subscriber agrees to receive emails from the site

The user is provided with a clear description of the educational resources offered and their content

The United Arab Emirates is the country of the educational portal site

Terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates

When you complete online payment (online) on our site for the purpose of purchasing a product, the information you are requested will be provided to the online payment service provider directly via a secure connection

Minors under 18 years of age are prohibited from registering on this site as a “user” and are not allowed to make or use transactions in it

We will not trade with or provide any services with countries that have been sanctioned by OFAC

 

 

Terms of purchase and payment

A) Refund policy: When making the purchase, the supplier will be listed in your account, specifically in “My files”, so that you can print or download it to your device. If you make the purchase, you agree to our return policy, which is:

 

All sales are final and non-refundable once the purchase order has been submitted, so read the description of the educational resource well, and for any inquiries about the resource you can contact us via e-mail info@e-portal.ae

 

If you purchase a resource and it contains a spelling error, you can request modification of it by contacting us via the e-mail info@e-portal.ae, to amend it and include it in your account in the educational portal at no charge

 

The value of the resource will not be refunded when you purchased a product in error, so make sure to carefully check the content of your shopping cart before applying to complete the order

 

The value of the resource will be refunded in the event of a repeat purchase of the resource in error within a period of up to 45 days

 

B) Payment methods and currency

When you complete online payment on our site for the purpose of purchasing a product, the information you are requested will be provided to the online payment service provider directly via a secure connection

 

Online payment made through the site in United Arab Emirates dirham (AED / AED) using Visa / MasterCard credit cards

 

Upon completion of the purchase order and after the payment process, the site allows you to print the resource or download it to your device depending on the file type, for more details see “Terms of Use of Resources”

 

Once the payment is made, a confirmation notification will be sent to the customer via email within 24 hours of receipt of the payment

 

The cardholder must keep a copy of the transaction records and a copy of the educational portal policies and laws

 

 

 

 

Terms of use of resources

Thank you very much for your confidence in our work and for your support in purchasing our educational portal resources. The creation and preparation of teaching aids is our passion, and we are very happy to see our works in the hands of educators and students. Once you purchase the resource, you agree to the terms of use, and your use of any resource is subject to the policy and terms stated in the “Terms of Use of Resources”, so please kindly read the following terms of use carefully

All the resources of the educational portal are prepared by Rafia Khalfan Al Suwaidi, so she reserve all intellectual property rights to these resources, and the buyer has rights to use these resources according to the individual license, and we mean the individual license is the buyer has the right to use the resource according to the permitted use of the “terms of use of resources” as an individual buyer of the resource, and remember that when you buy a product you are buying an individual license, which is using the resource for only one person, if you want to participate with another teacher of the supplier you must buy an additional license for it

Resources in the educational portal are two types, PDF and Ppsx, when you buy products, you will keep these files in your account on the site through “My files”, as resources that are in PDF format, you will be able to keep them for life on the site and print them at any time according to the permitted use and stipulated in the terms of use of resources, while products that are in Ppsx format, you will be able to download them in your device for the purpose of displaying and using them with your students based on the permitted use stipulated in the terms of use of resources

A) Allowed use: As a buyer of a single license, you will be permitted

Use of the product in the learning room for educational purposes

As a teacher, you are allowed to photograph the product while it is being used by your students as well as post pictures if your goal is to demonstrate the usefulness of the product or demonstrate your creativity in teaching

Print and make copies of resources and provide them to your students, class assistants, and alternative teacher as necessary

 

B) Disallowed use: As a buyer of a single license:

It is not permissible to send or share the product, either manually or electronically, with other teachers, friends, and others, which is in violation of the law of use, except for free products

It is forbidden to copy the product or any part of it and put it on the internet in any way, (even if it is a personal website, a school site, a class blog, or a social media website)

It is prohibited to use the product for commercial purposes, such as buying and printing the product for the purpose of selling it, and you may not merge the product or part of it with another product and sell it

It is not permissible to delete or cross out (all rights reserved © educational portal) or the name of the site or the site logo if any of the product

 

Legal action will be taken and a lawsuit filed against those who violate the resource licensing policy stipulated under “resource use conditions”
